The Yogurt Bar

This yucca cleansing bar is made with yogurt, Moroccan clay, and honey. It can be used head to toe.

It breaks down pore-clogging dirt and minimizes the appearance of discoloration, breakouts, and blemishes.

The active ingredients in the lather can act as a pore cleansing facial mask or gentle clarifying shampoo bar that won't strip your hair or skin. To activate, simply allow the lather to sit on your face for 10-15 seconds before rinsing or allow to sit on the hair for 1-2 minutes as a detangling and mild clarifying hair treat! 

History

I began selling these bars in 2014 in local vendor markets and online. They quickly became a best seller as a facial soap. And then it became more popular when customers began trying it on their hair and experiencing the detangling and hydrating hair properties.

*These bars do not contain any synthetic fragrance and are lightly scented with Ho Wood essential oil. They smell like local honey with a hint of natural floral sweetness.

Directions:

For skincare: Wet the bar and use your hands or a cleansing cloth to lather until creamy. Gently massage the lather into face, neck, or body. For a deeper facial cleanser, allow the lather to sit on your face for 10-15 seconds.  Rinse thoroughly with cool water and follow with moisturizer of choice.

For haircare: Wet your hair and either gently massage the shampoo bar against your hair in small circular motions (best for short hair) or glide the bar down the length of your hair for longer hair. Lather and rinse thoroughly. *Some people like to detangle with the lather before rinsing.

Note- the bars may begin to "sweat" or show the appearance of water droplets when exposed to the air. This is a normal occurrence. The bars are extremely moisturizing and attract moisture from the air, especially in humid climates. This moisture attaches to the bar in the same way that it helps to draw moisture to your hair and skin.
